Anti-termite Treatment for New Buildings:
Pre-construction Anti-termite Soil Treatment

Pre-construction anti-termite soil treatment is the ideal method of termite control. In new buildings under construction, the soil immediately around the building and beneath the floor is charged with soil toxicants so as to create a chemical barrier impregnable to termites.

Also, all vulnerable locations such as points where underground soil pipes, electric cables etc., enter the external plinth wall are well treated with soil toxicants.

Chemical Barrier
Active Pest Control anti-termite soil treatment is designed to create an effective chemical barrier which prevents termite infestation for a long time.

While we provide a nominal 5 years guarantee, the effect of the chemical in the soil is known to last well over 30 years. Experiments started by the Pest Control Association of America in the forties indicated that the soil is 100% present and effective against termites for more than 30 years.

Treatment for Existing Termite infested buildings:
Post-construction Curative-cum- Preventive Treatment

In existing buildings, which are termite infested, the various steps of treatment
recommended are:

Drilling holes, 18 inches deep, internally and externally to create an impervious barrier against termites

Injection of anti-termite chemical in termited galleries to destroy live forms hiding inside.
Spraying of infested wood with Anti-Termite chemical to destroy existing infestation and
to make the wood resistant to attack.
Drilling in the floor along cracks, wherever feasible and along the junction of walls and
floor at selected spots and pumping soil toxicants in order to create a chemical barrier
at the ground barrier at the ground floor level in the path of termites seeking entry into
the building.
Trenching along the external perimeter of the building and charging the soil with
toxicants to create a chemical barrier to prevent termite entry.
